Nahantu's Lion mount comes from patience, not a lucky drop. While you're pushing through Vessel of Hatred, the hunt for all 30 Tenets of Akarat gives the region a real purpose beyond picking up D4 items and moving on. Each shrine sits somewhere in Nahantu's dense wilderness, often just off the route you'd normally take. Why the Tenets are worth your time

These shrines may remind you of the Altars of Lilith, though the payoff works differently. A Tenet does not raise your character's core stats. Instead, each one gives experience and 10 Nahantu Renown. That means the full set provides 300 Renown, which is useful if you are still filling out regional rewards. You'll also receive the Akarat's Dedicant title. The lion is the big draw, obviously, but the Renown makes the trip feel less like a side errand.

What happens at a corrupted shrine

You can spot a Tenet before it is ready to claim because corruption has wrapped around it. Nearby Stone Guardians tell you what sort of task is coming. The basic patterns are easy to learn after you've met them a few times: 1) Red Guardians call in hostile Shades and other enemies, so clear every wave. 2) Jade Guardians ask you to light three statues quickly, before the first flame goes out. 3) Grey Guardians use a matching puzzle; find the distant set of statues and copy its lit pattern. 4) Some Guardians cannot be touched at all. In those cases, hit the vines or the shrine itself until the corruption's health is gone.

Plan the route before you ride out

Getting waypoints first saves a surprising amount of time. Nahantu has six areas, and each holds five Tenets: Teganze Plateau, Field of Giants, Restless Canopy, Five Hills, Seven Stones, and Lingering Hatred. A clean sweep works better than bouncing between map markers. Pick one section, work from one edge to the other, then move to the next. Keep an eye on narrow paths, broken ruins, and water nearby. A few shrines are tucked away well enough that you'll miss them if you only follow the main trails.

Claiming the lion
